| MINNETONKA, Minn. (July 14, 2004) –- There’s only one
goal when it comes to fishing artificial bait: make that fish believe the hunk
of plastic you’re trolling is something to eat. With the new, ultra-realistic
Storm™ WildEye® Live Series soft plastic baits, you
might just fool yourself into thinking these lures are real live bait.
“Since Storm launched its first soft plastic baits three years ago, anglers
have been clamoring for more,” says Mark Fisher, professional angler and
director of field promotions for Storm. “The new Live Series baits are so
incredibly detailed – from the color and shape to the swimming action – that they
seem to come alive when casting, jigging or trolling in any freshwater
environment.”
The Live Series offers seven naturistic, soft body
shapes with life-like color patterns that mimic various species – perch,
sunfish, pike, minnow, rainbow trout, shiner and leech. The durable PVC
construction stays tough for multiple strikes, and the weighted heads make
precision casting and deep-water jigging a cinch. A variety of sizes, ranging
from one to six inches, depending on the pattern, makes a Live Series bait the
perfect meal for any size predator – from smallmouth to northern pike, and
everything in between.
All Live Series lures feature flash foils and Storm’s signature holographic WildEyes for added realism, and they come pre-rigged with
the right Rapala VMC hooks so anglers can spend less
time baiting hooks and more time fishing.
More new Storm soft plastics
The WildEye Suspending Mullet and WildEye Suspending Croaker are unique,
adjustable soft baits that hang out in the strike zone, just waiting for the big
ones to hit. These rattling, suspending lures feature a reflective foil spine
wrapped around cork and adjustable tails that allow anglers to customize the
swimming action to suit different structures and weather conditions.
It’s time for big fish madness with the new WildEye
Curl Tail Spin Shad, a monster-sized soft bait spinner designed to hook the
biggest species. With a heavy-duty willow leaf blade, stainless ball bearing
swivel and durable Rapala VMC hook, this spinner is
sure to motivate even the most elusive fish.
The new Rattle Jigging Craw and WildEye
Rattling Swim Grub both offer lifelike presentation and a rhythmic rattle
for great soft plastic action. The Rattle Jigging Craw comes pre-rigged with an
extra-strong, wide gap needle point hook, so fish bite and don’t let go. The WildEye Rattling Swim Grub is a unique grub/tube hybrid –
combining the soft, floating action of a grub with the streamlined, darting
action of a tube for excellent results when jigging, casting or trolling.
