STORM 'BRINGS THE THUNDER' WITH NEW HYBRIDS
Fish can't resist new ultra-realistic Storm ThunderCore baits

MINNETONKA, Minn. (July 5, 2005) - Squirming underwater creatures are tasty treats for predator fish. But hard baits lack the delicate, realistic action needed to outsmart crafty species, and it's tough to get soft baits down deep enough to trigger feeding. That's why Storm created the new Thunder(r)Core collection - true hybrid lures that offer the best qualities of both baits. Now anglers are "feeling the thunder" of more powerful strikes and landing bigger fish.

The Storm Thunder(r)Core series is a unique combination of soft plastic molded to a hard, polycarbonate core. The solid body secures hooks and a polycarbonate lip, ensuring excellent diving and suspending performance, while the wiggly, jiggly outer skin makes fish think they are biting into a real critter.

"Anglers are noticing the difference right away when they fish these lures," says Mark Fisher, director of field promotions for Storm. "The ThunderCore molding makes the action so lifelike that fish hang on longer, giving you more time to set the hook."

No matter which of the five Storm ThunderCore lures you choose, these hybrid baits represent the best of both worlds. Each lure is molded into exclusive "freak of nature" shapes that resemble natural forage and feature lifelike swimming action. A holographic flash foil and internal rattle give these lures a skeletal look and feel. All ThunderCore lures come pre-rigged with premium VMC hooks for optimal performance.

  • The Thunder(r)Core Dawg dives to four feet with its oversized, polycarbonate lip. Its unique design allows anglers to choose from four different triggering actions by simply modifying hook placement.
  • The Thunder(r)Core Squirter swims at a 2-3 foot depth and features a loud rattling cadence and a whip-like tail to attract predator fish.
  • The Thunder(r)Core Scoot N' Craw is a slow-sinking lure that dives to 6-7 feet and is perfect for shallow lakes and rivers.
  • The Thunder(r)Core Minner' is a long-casting, shallow-running lure in six bright, holographic patterns that catch fish in a flash.
  • The Thunder(r)Core Pilcher' does double duty as a slow-sinking freshwater lure and a suspending saltwater lure, with eight hot colors and brightly tinted teaser tails.
